'Face of Childsure' 2010 - Competition Rules

These are the terms & conditions for the Face of Childsure 2010 competition. Please read carefully -

1. There are four categories in the competition, the overall winner for the "Face of 2010" will be selected from the winner of each of the following categories -
   • Baby Face - for ages from zero to 18 months
   • Toddler Face - 18 months to 4 years old
   • Child Face - 4 year old to 12 years old
   • Teen Face - 12 years to 18 years old
   The age limits age limits for each category is based on the child's age as of the 31 December 2009. (The judges reserve the right to request verification of child's age).
2. The closing date is 31 December 2009.
3. By entering the competition you are agreeing to allowing Childsure to contact you with marketing material.
4. All images should be in JPG format. 
5. No entries can be returned and receipt will not be acknowledged.
6. Some of the prizes are not available to entrants living outside of the UK.
7. The organisers accept no responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the upload or moderation processes.

9. All eligible pictures taken must be uploaded our website www.faceofchildsure.co.uk
10. All entries must be original work and must not have been previously published.
11. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photos entered.
12. Entrants can submit only one image of their child
13. Images must not be manipulated except to remove spots or scratches. We reserve the right to exclude any image without reason.
14. Each entry should be accompanied with the following details:
    • The full name of the person in the photograph
    • Full name of parent / legal guardian
    • The mobile number of the parent / legal guardian
    • The Email address of the parent / legal guardian
    • The sex of the child in the photograph
15. By submitting an entry you confirm your entry is your own work, has not been wholly or substantially copied from any other material and you own the copyright of it.
16. Images will be refused and deleted by our moderators if they are deemed to be inappropriate.
17. You grant permission for Childsure, Sure Insurance Services Ltd or any of its agents to publish, your entry (including the Childs name, image, likeness and description) free of charge on the Website and in other media
18. The overall winner will become the "Face of 2010" for Childsure and will take part in any promotional material needed for the 2010 Childsure Campaign.
19. The "Face of 2010" for Childsure is a non-payment modeling job.
20. There is a year-long modeling contract.
21. The overall winner will be chosen by the judging panel.
22. Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity required.
23. Any entrant who is deemed not to have entered fairly into the spirit of the competition will be excluded.
24. The 'Face of 2010' competition is only open to UK residents under the age of 18 at the closing date. All travel costs for the winners will be borne by the winners and NOT Childsure, Sure Insurance Services Ltd or any of their agents.
25. By entering this Competition you grant the Childsure, Sure Insurance Services Ltd, any of its agents and any Competition sponsor(s) the right to use your personal information to send you information about their respective products and services which may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive this information, please follow the instructions given.
26. By entering the competition, entrants grant the right for Childsure, Sure Insurance Services Ltd, and their agents to publish and exhibit short listed images on the Childsure website / facebook page, and any other media as they think fit, free of charge. Entrants will also be deemed to have consented to short listed images being used for Childsure promotions. No fee will be payable for this use. Entrants agree to take part in post-competition publicity as required.
27. Childsure, Sure Insurance Services Ltd and their agents grant no protection to prevent the images uploaded or otherwise sent to the Childsure competition to prevent their distribution across other internet websites over which they have no control.
28. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

30. There will be a public vote and the top twenty in each category will be put in front of a panel of judges who will draw up a winner and runner-up in each category for the final competition in January 2010. The winner from each category will then go forward where a separate judging panel will then select the overall winner of the "Face of 2010" for Childsure. The winner will be announced by 15th January 2010.
31. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
32. These Competition Rules are governed by English law. Any disputes arising between the Company and any third party in relation to these Competition Rules and/or a Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (save that the Company shall be entitled to take action against a third party in any other jurisdiction).
